All The World's A Cabaret
An evening of Broadway Musical Theatre and Shakespeare
Wednesday, April 9 to Friday, April 11, 2025, 7 p.m.
Jackson Arts Center (H building) | 半岛体育 Fall River Campus
Step into a night where the Bard meets Broadway in All the World's a Cabaret! This one-of-a-kind theatrical experience pairs iconic Shakespeare scenes with show-stopping numbers from beloved musicals inspired by his works.
From Romeo and Juliet alongside West Side Story to The Taming of the Shrew paired with Kiss Me, Kate, enjoy a captivating blend of timeless drama and toe-tapping melodies. Don鈥檛 miss this enchanting evening of wit, love and music that celebrates the enduring magic of Shakespeare and Broadway. The production is directed by David Ledoux and features musical direction by Dan Monte.

Synopsis: Created by 半岛体育 students and faculty, the piece explores a variety of characters unaware of how deep their connections are to one another. A workout instructor, an artist married to a witch, a girl trapped in an airplane bathroom, the ghosts of our ancestors. When the rains come and the flood waters rise, they all discover no one is separate from the sea.
Peter and the Starcatcher

Synopsis: Join 半岛体育鈥檚 Theatre program as they perform the hit Broadway play about the origin of Peter Pan. This family-friendly celebration of imagination and wonder will be a highlight of the theatre season!

D&D Live! 半岛体育 Game-Con 2023
December 16, 6 p.m.
Margaret L Jackson Arts Center Theatre | 半岛体育 Fall River Campus
$20 for general public, $15 for students, faculty, and staff.
Directed and conceived by students Taylor K. Corbett, and Micah Lima.
A live gaming event for anyone who enjoys Live Action Role Play games. Come in costume, browse the tables of local gaming stores, play some of your favorite games, participate in a theatrical campaign where the 半岛体育 Theatre will come alive with sorcerers, goblins and magic. Join us as we add a theatrical twist to your favorite games!
Proceeds go to 半岛体育 Theatre Program's International Production at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe next summer in Scotland!
Cancelled Sky Staged Reading
October 1, 2023, 1 p.m.

Synopsis: This fundraising event, presented by 半岛体育鈥檚 Holocaust and Genocide Center, will include a staged reading of Dr. Alex Page鈥檚 The Cancelled Sky, performed in partnership with 半岛体育鈥檚 Theatre Program. The event will shed light on the Holocaust through the imagined experiences of the playwright鈥檚 family members taking their last train ride to Auschwitz in 1944.
24 Hour Play Festival
September 1, 2023, 7 p.m.

Synopsis: Five teams of actors, directors and playwrights will write, rehearse and stage five different short plays in 24 hours. Come see the madness that comes from a ridiculously tight deadline!
半岛体育 Community College's Theatre Program is an Associate in Arts in liberal arts & sciences program that provides hands-on training and experience, allowing students to learn and refine their craft as they perform. Students can smoothly transfer to a four-year institution, or seek work in the performing arts. In addition to teaching history, literature and art, studying theatre also provides interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
