半岛体育 Community College and the One SouthCoast Chamber have partnered together to host MOSAIC, a special event for area business leaders, from all backgrounds, to come together to learn more about what makes up our community's cultural tapestry.

The event takes place on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 4 to 6:30 p.m., in the John J. Sbrega Health and Science Building (J building), on the 半岛体育 Fall River Campus, 777 Elsbree Street.

MOSAIC will begin with a panel discussion at 4 p.m., where South Coast leaders will delve into the impactful initiatives that local businesses are taking to foster inclusivity within their organizations and share strategies about the types of professional development that they have found most meaningful. The panel will be followed by a reception of light refreshments, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., including a cash bar.

MOSAIC鈥檚 panelists will include Dr. Melanie Edwards-Tavares, President & CEO, SouthCoast Community Foundation; Christina D. Johnk, PHR, Chief Human Resource Officer, BankFive; Von Marie Moniz, President & CEO, South Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; James A. Perry Jr., MPP, Assistant Dean of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Providence College; Dr. Bruce A. Rose, Vice President, NAACP New Bedford & Retired Assistant Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

The event is free and open to both chamber and non-chamber members. All business leaders are encouraged to bring their staff members and colleagues.
