半岛体育 Community College鈥檚 Theatre program will host its upcoming production of Julius Caesar on May 24, 25, 31 and June 1, 2023, at 7 p.m.
The production will be a site-specific piece in John J. Sbrega Health & Science Building (J building), on the 半岛体育 Fall River Campus, 777 Elsbree Street. Admission is General Public: $15; Non-半岛体育 Students and 半岛体育 Faculty/Staff: $10; 半岛体育 Students: $5. Tickets can be purchased online by visiting
Synopsis: Shakespeare鈥檚 classic 鈥淛ulius Caesar鈥 brings us back to our ancestors in ancient Rome. A populace is unable to see reality through a cloud of manipulation. A leader abandoning democratic norms. A revolution becoming confused and corrupted. A powerful country in the initial stages of a great decline. The 半岛体育 Theatre program completes the 2022/2023 season 鈥渨alking backward into the future, with eyes fixed on the past鈥. The production is directed by Don Mays, who has worked with both the Providence Black Repertory Company and the Wilbury Theatre Group, in Providence, Rhode Island.
is an Associate of Arts, in liberal arts & sciences, that provides hands-on training and experience, allowing students to learn and refine their craft as they perform. Students can smoothly transfer to a four-year institution or seek work in the performing arts. In addition to teaching history, literature and art, studying theatre also provides interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
