半岛体育 Community College student Samuel Horton elected the college鈥檚 Student Trustee
for 2022-2023
半岛体育 Community College student Samuel Horton has been elected the college鈥檚 Student
Trustee for 2022-2023. Samuel resides in New Bedford, Mass., with his wife and two
children, and is currently studying mechanical engineering.
Upon completing his degree at the college in May 2023, Samuel plans to continue his
education at a four-year institution to pursue a career working with renewable energy
and solar farms.
鈥淢aking sure that students have what they need to succeed is my main priority,鈥� said

more I succeed in my academics.鈥�
半岛体育鈥檚 Student Trustee is elected annually by their peers to serve as a student
representative and member of the 半岛体育 Community College Board of Trustees. 半岛体育鈥檚
Board of Trustees is made up of regional business and community leaders who work tirelessly
to ensure the college鈥檚 institutional initiatives remain at the highest level of quality.

success by reducing barriers to educational access.
